Common Core Standards - The Common Core State Standards provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, so teachers and parents know what they need to do to help them. The standards are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills that our young people need for success in college and careers. With American students fully prepared for the future, our communities will be best positioned to compete successfully in the global economy. 

Accuplacer - The Accuplacer Test is a placement test for students who wish to study at certain technical schools, colleges, and universities in the United States.

CASAS - Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems is used by federal and state government agencies, business and industry, community colleges, education and training providers, correctional facilities, and technical programs to assess basic skills proficiency and promote the transition to higher education and the workforce.  CASAS is the only adult assessment system approved and validated by the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Labor to assess both native and non-native speakers of English.  

COMPASS Placement Test - The COMPASS computer-adaptive college placement test helps educators quickly evaluate incoming students' skill levels in Reading, Writing Skills, Writing Essay, Math, and English as a Second Language, place students in appropriate courses and connect them to the resources they need to achieve academic success.

MA ABE - The Massachusetts Adult Basic Education Curriculum Test addresses the placement of learners into appropriate instructional programs in math and reading so that their progress in meeting educational goals can be evaluated.

NWEA 2007 -  Northwest Evaluation Association started in 1977 and is committed to evolving to meet the needs of today’s students and teachers.  They strive to devise a formative testing system that responds dynamically to the child, and gives educators the actionable information they need to help each child achieve their goals. 

Praxis 2005 - The Praxis Tests measure teacher candidates’ knowledge and are usually required before, during, and after teacher training courses.  The skills assessed include reading, writing, and mathematics. In most states, prior to obtaining teaching certification a candidate must pass each of the tests.

TABE - The Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) is a standardized test published by CTB/McGraw Hill. The most current form of the TABE is the 9/10, however, the older 7/8 form is still used. It tests reading and math skills to determine a person’s skill level and aptitude. 

TerraNova - The Terra Nova test is a series of standardized achievement tests designed to assess K-12  achievement in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
