The CASAS, or Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems, is used by federal and state government agencies, business and industry, community colleges, education and training providers, correctional facilities, and technical programs.

This national education alignment is meant to assess basic skills and proficiencies, as well as to promote the transition students to higher education and the workforce. The CASAS is the only adult assessment system approved and validated by the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Labor to assess both native and non-native speakers of English.
